My trip start in Roissy CDG airport, the 3rd of march, after months of impatience. I took the plane with Jeanne and Julie, after our parents ask me to take care of them ☺. Seven hours after the take off, we landing at Dubai aiport, wich is so big that in one hour, we just have the time to go to the right terminal and embark on the plane to Shanghai. 6hours later we finally arrived at Pudong Airport, the national airport of Shanghai for international flights. Directly after going through customs, many fake taxi harass us and offer us unbeatable prices to drive us. We prefer take a real cab, and 30minutes after, we are arrived in the Rbnb we rent for the first week. The flat was located on the outskirt of Shanghai. On the street we can see the big contrast between the right side,with buildings, and the left side, with dilapidated hut with very poor people in it.. During one week we were woken up by the ring of the primary school in the front street, the ring was an extract of the four season of Vivaldi, very pleasant to hear. During the first week, we visited few flats, and we found a nice appartment near Zhongshan Park, a great district at only one subway stop from our university campus. It’s a four people flat but we are five in it : Jeanne,Julie,Clemence,Jason and me, only ESDES students ! We realised soon that in the building, there was lots of student people and most of them were French students from the our rival Business School, IDRAC Lyon ! It has been three weeks since we installed, we are very happy with our neighborhood, there is a Carrefour nearby, but careful if you want to buy French products: 10 € the grated cheese packet, 5€ for fresh cream… I could do a whole article on it, so much it is different than in France. But the next topic will be about University in China, do not forget that we are here to study ! Stay tuned !
